The Washington Post
View History
The Washington Post is an American daily newspaper. Published in Washington, D.C., it was founded on December 6, 1877. The newspaper has won 47 Pulitzer Prizes. This includes six separate Pulitzers awarded in 2008, second only to The New York Times’ seven awards in 2002 for the highest number ever awarded to a single newspaper in one year. Post journalists have also received 18 Nieman Fellowships and 368 White House News Photographers Association awards. In the early 1970s, in the best-known episode in the newspaper’s history, reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein led the American press’ investigation into what became known as the Watergate scandal; reporting in the newspaper greatly contributed to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. In years since, its investigations have led to increased review of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. {Wikipedia}
FAKE NEWS INVOLVING The Washington Post
Media’s Crusade: Destroy President Trump
“The more Americans are turned off from traditional news, the more they turn to dubious sources and read and listen only to things with which they agree. For those worried about our increasingly polarized society, the media is feeding that divide.”
Amen.
New Geography: THE TWILIGHT OF AMERICA’S MEGA-MEDIA
“Increasingly, the remnants of the old publishing industry are being bought by the oligarchs — Jeff Bezos’ purchase of the Post in 2013, the 2017 buying of the Atlantic by Laurene Powell Jobs, and last year’s purchase of Time by Marc Benioff, founder of San Francisco-based Salesforce.com. With billions made elsewhere, these media outlets no longer must listen to their diverse readers; Bezos did not buy the Post to defend democracy, as his henchmen insist, but to shape the debate in the nation’s capital.”
Top 10 Media “Collusion” Flops – NY Post
“The errant reporters and pundits — the ones who peddled the most outrageous falsehoods — want nothing more than to move on. But not so fast: There has to be some accountability for the biggest foul-ups.”
Humiliated Media: Hysterical Children Have No Business Running Journalism- Carlson
“For two years, our capital city became a kind of massive CNN panel — a living monument to ignorance and dishonesty, where the loudest and dumbest invariably got the most attention“
Liberty Nation’s Top 10 Media Russiagate Fails
“This is by no means the be-all and end-all of verbal high crimes and misdemeanors by media elites, but a few of these remarks are real head-shakers.”

System Fail: “Not a mistake”
“The Mueller Report is an unmitigated disaster for the American press and the ‘expert’ class that it promotes.”
A Catastrophic Media Failure
“Robert Mueller’s investigation is over, but questions still abound. Not about collusion, Russian interference or obstruction of justice, but about the leading lights of journalism who managed to get the story so wrong, and for so long.”
Media Hate: A Sad “Truth”
“It’s deeply disturbing how news coverage has often been turned into a propaganda machine, continuing to forge ahead with false narratives with no regard for truth. Facts just seem to get in the way.”
When did our media turn against us? Like the Collisium of old, today’s MSM bathes in the spectacle of modern day media gladiators and electronic assasinations. It’s a sickening trajectory, made worse by the hate fueled temperance of publically acceptable TDS.
“Propagandists”: Lara Logan On Today’s “Activist” Media
“In an interview published last Friday with the “Mike Drop” podcast, hosted by retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland, Logan called the media’s “absurdly left wing” Democratic bias “a huge fucking problem.”
Ahem. We finally have an inside account of how fake, “Fake News” really is. Lara describes the current media culture of activism which has completely abandoned the traditional methodology around journalism and professional conduct. Our deepest thanks to Lara’s courage to speak the truth and hopefully shine a light into the darkness that’s enveloped (mostly) the 4th estate.
Not Fake: WAPO gets sued for $250M
“Such suits, like this one, will focus public attention on the journalistic misconduct of outlets like the Post, and the bias against Donald Trump, white teenage males, and believing Catholics that produced it. If they succeed in court based on the fair application of defamation law and without undercutting the First Amendment, all the better.”
“Go get ‘em Nick!”
Fake Facts (2): Checkers “Truth” Is What They Say It Is
“The state of American fact-checking is dreadfully misleading. There’s no reason for conservatives to give its authors the deference they seek.”
Media bias exists in many, many new forms today. From “journalists” acting as opinion columnists to the old faithful: bias by omission. The ‘Media’ pick and choose stories, narratives and now “facts” that support their preconceived narrative and notions of what truth represents. And the ‘disease’ has now spread to the checkers of the “facts” – whose supposedly are neutral ( yes Snopes – we mean you) politically. Embarrassing – and fraudulent – and possibly now liable? Let’s see how slippery the slope has become…
